Jaguar Sign Manufacture Production Process Description
1. Production Scheduling
This is the initiation phase where orders are validated and planned.
Step 1: The process begins with the Sales department production work order.
Step 2: The order is passed to the Production plan assistant.
Step 3 (Decision - Undesirable Order): The system checks if it is an "Undesirable sales order".
YES: The order is put on administrative department record before proceeding.
NO: The order proceeds directly to the next step.
Step 4: The Production plan manager reviews the order.
Step 5 (Decision - Craft Review): A decision is made regarding the need for a "Production craft review meeting".
YES: The planner prepares materials of the meeting, and a review meeting is convened with the production, planning, and procurement departments.
NO: The process moves directly to the planner.
2. Materials Scheduling
Step 6: The Planner takes over to execute the Plan Department Order Tracking Process. This ensures all necessary materials and schedules are aligned.
3. Production Processing
Step 7: The actual manufacturing takes place in the Production workshop (Production Process).
Note: This step receives inputs from the Planner and also serves as the re-entry point for products requiring rework (see Quality Check below).
4. Quality Check
Step 8: The Quality check department inspects the output.
Step 9 (Decision - Unaccepted Product): The product is evaluated.
YES (Defective): The team performs problem analysis to get a solution. The item is then looped back to the Production workshop for rework.
NO (Accepted): The product proceeds to the final stage.
5. Delivery Scheduling
Step 10: A final Quality check before delivery is conducted.
Step 11: The process concludes at The finished product warehouse, where the product in/out storage process is executed.
