Letters at roof level are read from far away and sit in the wind. They mount to a support backing frame, large letters get an internal keel frame, and the structure needs drawings and wind-load calculations from your local engineer before fabrication.
Fixing rule: letters fix to concrete shear walls, beams or columns — never to hollow brick, block, insulation or render alone.
